Hair washing tips
  • Massage your hair gently – don't scrub at it. Wet hair is fragile and can break easily
  • Rinse the shampoo out with hot water. This will open up the hair cuticle and allow the conditioner to penetrate well
  • Use a 'product build-up' remover shampoo once every few washes. This will rid the hair of excess product which can dull the hair over time

Conditioning tips

  • Always condition your hair after washing
  • Before you apply your conditioner, squeeze as much water out of your hair as possible. If you don't do this, the conditioner will be diluted in your hair and won't be as effective
  • Only apply conditioner to your hair from ear level down. This is to prevent a build-up of product in your crown area which will loose you volume in your finished style
  • Once your conditioner has been rinsed out, give your hair another final rinse with cool water – or cold, if you can bear it! This helps to close the hair cuticle and lock moisture in
  • Always use a wide-toothed comb on hair before blow drying. Don't ever brush it as this can easily cause damage
Lastly, make sure you got your hair cut regularly. Know what you want. Decide what length and shape you want before you talk to your hairstylist.
